學校簡介：
本系在2000年以「泰國傳統音樂學系」為名，開設專業課程，兩年後增設了「西方音樂學系」。為了拓展教學領域，更在2003年將系所名稱改為音樂與表演藝術學系，共開設泰國傳統音樂、西方音樂、泰國傳統舞蹈暨舞作編創、表導演等四種學位課程。本系提供多元的課程，讓學生在跨學科的學習環境中，深化對音樂、舞蹈與戲劇的知識。
藉由音樂與表演藝術的學習，不論在個人的思考方式、道德標準或是社會責任等方面，本系的每位學生都能有所提升。本系也鼓勵學生探索跨文化的元素，從傳統藝術當中開發出新思維，來回應當代的全球文化情勢。此外，本校是泰國唯一結合音樂與表演藝術，讓學生體驗跨文化、跨學科學習環境的大學。本系每年舉辦音樂與表演藝術節，亦為學生帶來許多與國內外知名藝術家合作的機會，合作過的對象包括：皮歇‧克朗淳舞團，Katsura Kan，Teguh Sukaryo等等。本系將於2013年升等為「音樂與表演藝術學院」，並將於2014年開始提供碩士與博士班的課程。
In 2000, our program started as the Department of Thai Classical Music, and then Department of Western Music was establised in the following two years. In 2003, we expanded the department as “Department of Music and Performing Arts (MUPA)” with four degree programs in Thai Classical Music, Western Music, Thai Classical Dance and Choreography, as well as Acting and Directing. Since then, MUPA has offered a wide range of courses and classes which deepend students’ knowledge of Music, Dance and Theatre with a strong emphasis on the interdispinary learning environment.
At MUPA, each student nourishes his or her own philosophies, moral standards as well as social responsibilities through learning music and performing arts. Every student is also encouraged to explore cross-cultural elements and innovative ideas rooted on tradition as a response for the contemporary and global culture in the world. In addition, MUPA is the only university in Thailand, where students can experience cross-cultural and interdisclipinary collaborations through Music and Performing Arts. Our Annual Music and Performimg Arts Festival have brought numerous collaborations for students with renown Thai and international performing artists such as Pichet Klunchun Dance Company, Katsura Kan, Teguh Sukaryo, among others. In 2013, MUPA will be the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts and will offer Master's and Doctoral Degree Programs in Music and Performing Arts starting in 2014.

簡介：
身兼製作人、導演、歌手、演員、老師、舞者與編舞家等多重身分，被視為是泰國最富才華、最振奮人心的藝術家之一。他於泰國詩納卡寧威洛大學完成音樂教育的學士學位，主修泰國傳統聲樂。他也在這所位於曼谷的知名大學，取得民族音樂學的碩士學位。
烏阿伊西拉帕在1996年成為「Maradok Mai 劇團」的核心成員，隨後接受Maradokmai表演計畫的訓練，學習範疇涵括導演、劇場管理、行政、戲劇教學等領域。1996到1998年期間，他以專業演員的身分與Janapakral Chanrueng等泰國導演合作。2011年受泰國政府之邀，為泰皇浦美蓬祝壽的年度慶典Patthavisai擔任導演一職。
烏阿伊西拉帕現任「藝術暨文化研究協會」總監，兼任泰國布拉帕大學音樂與表演藝術學系的系主任，同時也是布拉帕大學每年主辦「音樂與表演藝術節」的執行製作。
Profile:
Sanchai Uaesilapa, a producer, stage director, singer, actor, teacher, dancer and chorographer, is considered as one of the most versatile and exciting artists in Thailand. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education with a major in Thai Classical singing at Srinakarintrawirot University in Bangkok, where he also obtained his Master of Fine Arts degree in Ethnomusicology.
In 1996, Mr. Uaesilapa was a core member of the Maradok Mai Theatre Troupe and later train as a director, a manager, administrator and a teacher of Drama as part of the Maradokmai Acting Program. From 1996-8, he worked as a professional actor as well as collaborated with Thai directors such as Janapakral Chanrueng. In 2011, he was invited to be the Director for the Royal Birthday Anniversary “Patthavisai” for the Thai King Phumipol and Royal Thai’s monarchy, which was sponsored and organized by the Thai government.
Mr. Uaesilapa is the Director of Institute Research of Art and Culture, the Head of the Music and Performing Arts Department, was well as the Executive Producer of the Annual Music and Performing Arts Festival at Burapha University in Thailand.
